Henry Zeman was a Pulitzer Prize-nominated photojournalist at the Grand Rapids Press for 35 years. He was also an eye-witness to the construction of Mighty Mac. After his death in 2015, Zeman's family found and restored hundreds of photographs Zeman had taken during over the course of the bridge's construction. His granddaughter, Jacquelyn Zeman, used the restored photos to create a video. Zeman's photos give us an insider's view of the birth of the magnificent structure we call Mighty Mac.
